How Live Wedding Painting Works
Congratulations on your engagement!
This is the start of an exciting new chapter in your journey together, and I would be honoured to be a part of it.
Below, I have detailed what having a Live Wedding Painter all entails. If you have any further questions, please feel free to get in touch!

Before Your Wedding
1. Check your wedding date availability by leaving an enquiry.
2. Secure your date with a 25% deposit (plus any travel fees) and a signed contract.
3. Consultation: 4-6 weeks prior to your wedding, we will have a full consultation to design your artwork. We will discuss colours, preferences, scenes, poses, and anything else that is important to you on your wedding day.
The Wedding Day
1. I will arrive 1-2 hours prior to the ceremony to begin painting the background and planning your composition.
2. Depending on the timeline of your wedding day, we will take some exclusive photos as reference for your painting. This usually takes place after your first look or immediately after your ceremony.
3. Once I have captured the moment, I will add you into your painting for your guests’ entertainment.
4. At the end of the night, you will have a good idea of the direction of your painting. Your portraits will be detailed, with a looser background which will be refined during touch-ups.
If your photographer and videographer is still present, I will let them know when the painting is complete for the night so they can capture your reaction.
After Your Wedding
1. After your wedding, I will take your painting back to the studio to add in the final details and varnish. This process usually takes around 4-16 weeks, depending on the size of your painting. At certain times of the year, your painting may require additional drying time.
2. You will be contacted once your painting is complete to arrange a collection time. If required, your painting will be professionally packed and shipped to you. A shipping quote will be provided upon booking.
